You link icons by :icon------: with the user name and it should work.
This is yours :iconmoonstream17:, that is iconmoonstream17 with : on each side. You can use :dev-------: which just uses the name with a link to the profile page, like this ~moonstream17
And I think you need a subscription to thumbnail pictures, but you can still link to them by copying the address at the top of your browser and just pasting it in with a space on each side.
